The exhibition “The One Croatian Story”, inaugurated in the Adris Gallery during the twelfth Weekend Media Festival, celebrates the long-term collaboration between the Adris Group and the creative agency Bruketa&Žinić&Grey.
The shared journey is shown as a series of cut circles that are expanding and shrinking, allowing the visitor to navigate through the works resulting from the collaboration and stop in each circle to contemplate the meaning behind each exhibit.
The circumferences, which are raised to a height of one meter, in their third dimension turn the circles into negatives, into a space intended for movement and contemplation, while the positive, the surrounding area, becomes filled with horizontal surfaces suitable for displaying books in their natural position, thus inviting visitors to open them, flip through them, and explore them.
The rhythm and movement through the cut circles lead the visitor from the main entrance on the ground floor through the gallery floor, to eventually find themselves on the steps that lead to the outside area, to the porch where posters are displayed, linked to exhibitions and spatial interventions. The movement through the exhibition thus becomes a movement through inner and outer spaces of the Adris Gallery, and the shared journey reverts to its beginning, perhaps a new beginning full of impressions.
