We have successfully transformed the top two floors of one of Zagreb's oldest skyscrapers into an elegant office space for a law firm, capturing the spirit of the 1950s.
The skyscraper located at Ilica 1 holds great historical significance in the city's history. When it was constructed from 1957 to 1959, it stood as the tallest and most elegant office building not only in Zagreb but in the entire former state. Additionally, it was the first building to feature a 16-story high aluminum facade, soaring 70 meters above the ground.
The rich historical context of the skyscraper served as our inspiration for the reconstruction of the office interior. The result is a captivating business environment that subtly evokes the aesthetics and ambiance of the popular series, Mad Men, allowing us to reinterpret the look and lifestyle of the era in which the space was originally designed and used.
