To kick this project off, we conducted extensive fieldwork, monitoring customer behaviour at various times throughout the week to gain a comprehensive understanding of their actions before implementing the new retail concept.
We decided to reintroduce the WOW! (UAU.) effect to the Big Bang Mega store in Ljubljana that offered limited excitement to its customers. The new strategy aims to transform the store into one that lives up to its name – not only in terms of size – and makes Big Bang Mega a sought-after shopping destination.
Customers now visit not out of necessity (to buy, replace, or repair), but out of desire (to experience, explore, and enjoy). We developed a dynamic display concept centred around experiential shop-in-shop islands that serve as anchors, while the rest of the store remains flexible.
The engaging ‘treasure hunt’ display concept ensures that the store layout is ever-changing, providing a fresh experience with each visit and extending its appeal. Explore Big Bang Mega in 3D by following the link!
